Welcome to SnapDoc. By accessing or using our website and services (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. Use of the Service

• You must use the Service only in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or interfere with its normal operation.
• SnapDocuments is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

2. Accounts and Google Sign-In

• To use the Service, you may need to sign in with your Google Account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under it.
• You may revoke SnapDoc’s access to your Google Account at any time through Google Account Permissions.

3. Content and Data

• When you grant SnapDoc access to your Google Drive, you retain ownership of your files and content.
• SnapDoc will only access, use, and store files and metadata as necessary to provide the Service.
• With your permission, SnapDoc may organize files in your Google Drive (e.g., create category and year folders, rename or move files you authorize) and create lightweight JSON metadata sidecar files in your Drive and/or appDataFolder to enable features like search and chat.
• We do not sell or share your files or personal information with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a harmful or unlawful manner. You may stop using the Service at any time.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SnapDocuments shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post any changes on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.
